Back in Colorado again

I'm back in Colorado now after my trip to Hawaii. It was fantastic! Perfect sunny weather almost everyday and plenty of surfing, snorkeling, shopping and sun baking. I miss it already. I'm happy to be back at the snow though, I only have a month left here. I can't believe it, the time has flown by.

Hawaii ♥

I'm in Hawaii!!! I flew here straight from the Rev Tour in Boreal, it was so good to arrive and step out of the airport into tropical weather. I love it!! I'm here taking a break from the snow with my aunty and friend. I thought I'd be giving my body a rest but I've been completely worn out everyday from surfing and walking everywhere. I'll have to do more relaxing.

Rev Tour

Another stunning day in sunny California. Girls pipe qualifications were first thing this morning at Boreal. I made it through into the finals but then fell on both of my final runs and ended up in 5th.

Trigger Bros team rider and my good friend Jarryd Williams won the mens event. So stoked for him!! He rode really well and was boosting. I filmed one of his qualifying runs. Check it out below.

Tahoe

Last night I arrived in Tahoe. I am here with ISTC for the Boreal stop of the Revolution Tour. It was beautiful and sunny all day, about 40 degrees(5 celsius), which is a nice change from the freezing cold temperatures at Breckenridge.

We had training today and are competing tomorrow. The pipe is an 18 footer which feels very very small compared to the 22ft superpipes we've been riding but I had fun in it today so hopefully all goes well and I land my run tomorrow.

Canadian Open Qualifiers

Today I had qualifiers at the Canadian Open in Calgary. My first competition in two years, wooo! We had a day of training yesterday(when it was -34 celsius!!) to get used to the pipe, it's was pretty challenging to ride, definitely not as close to perfection as the Breckenridge halfpipe. I was first to drop and landed my run but put my hand down on my back 5. I crashed my 2nd run and ended up in 9th. The top 5 girls move onto semis so I was dissapointed to miss the cut however they may be taking more girls through. I find out in the morning so fingers crossed!
