Sweet snow to the spring
So much for warm and sunny spring weather. I woke up this morning to see Breck had received a foot of fresh snow overnight, so I got up the hill early and had some pretty fun runs until it got tracked out. It's still coming down outside now so it could be another powder day tomorrow.

20 seconds in pipe
Today was another lovely spring day at Breck. Jarryd left his Go Pro running on the side of the pipe and I got caught on candid camera a few times.

Back 9
Today was great! It was sunny and really warm, especially hiking the pipe. Its Spring break here in the USA so the lift lines were packed but luckily the pipe was just about empty.
The best part about today was that I learnt a new trick, a Back 9. I was so happy! I was a little nervous going for the first one but I just spun harder than a back 5 and it came around. Stoked!
This video is from my third attempt.

Good weather at last
The past week in Breckenridge hasn't been ideal. We haven't even been able to ride the pipe because of the snow and lack of visibility. However it finally came good yesterday afternoon and today I awoke to a perfect blue sky. I'm hoping it will stay this way for the rest of my time here.
Also be sure to check out the Burton US Open thats happening this week. You can watch it live here http://opensnowboarding.com/Coverage.aspx?openid=USO
My good friend and housemate Rebecca Sinclair from NZ qualified 4th for the halfpipe finals on Saturday. Go Bex!!!!
